I cannot recommend Luke highly enough for his personal training sessions. I started training with Luke about 2 years ago. I was completely unhappy with how I looked, my weight and my level of fitness. Although I was terrified to go to the gym, once I got started I loved it! (Most the time 😉) I have lost weight at a steady pace, I am so much stronger and fitter than I have ever been and I feel perfectly confident walking into the gym now. I still have a way to go, but each session is tailored to my needs, he keeps me on track with my nutrition and motivates me to get moving outside of my sessions. I started working with Luke over a year ago after having a break from training. He supported me to get a good structure and diet back and encouraged me to always push harder, which is exactly what I needed from a PT.
I decided I wanted to fulfil my own personal goal of seeing whether I could manage competition prep and everything this involves. With Luke, we set a goal which coincided with a holiday so that I would get down to the look of a few weeks out and see how I felt. This was by far the hardest thing I have done with my training and Luke supported me completely. I had weekly and sometimes daily check ins, diet changes whenever needed and training remained interesting and challenging throughout.
As a trainer Luke pushes his clients to their potential and I leave each each session feeling like I couldn’t do anymore – just as it should be! However, he also listens and takes into account the views and expectations of his clients.
Throughout the time I have trained with Luke I have had injuries (secondary to training) where he has used his professional skills and knowledge to adapt the sessions so I didn’t have to miss the gym!
He is incredibly knowledgeable in all aspects of diet and training and even patient when I want to give up!! My body shape has changed dramatically since I started PT with Luke and I’m excited to see where the next stage of training takes me!
I couldn’t recommend PT with Luke enough, whether you have a specific goal or need guidance with this. Best trainer I’ve had by far!

If you are looking for a personal trainer you would be hard pushed to find better than LUKE HAYES. He tailor makes your personal programme concentrating on the areas you want to improve in whilst all the time using his expertise to make it very enjoyable. I have been training a good 4 years now, and for ever reading online and in magazines about different styles off workout and diets, and never got the results im was striving for.
i’ve always been nervous about hiring a personal trainer and felt like i’ve never needed one, due to the cost and thinking i was just going to be handed some chucked together plan. and told to go. but i got a holiday booked and told myself and Luke that in 6 weeks i want to be in the best shape i ever have been! and be damn sure Luke got me there! with in days he had written me out a full nutritional plan and workout plan, i hired him as a 121 trainer aswel. and after the first session i felt better. it cheered me up knowing i was on the right course, after 7 days training with him i had lost 6lbs and looked bigger. people were starting to notice how much i was changing. but that was only part off it, i felt better! i felt healthier, it was in complete shock in how great i felt and looked! and i just kept thinking this is only day 7. i could not wait till week two and onwards.
On holiday i felt amazing and in the words off my girlfriend ‘i looked hot’. but all i wanted to do was get back to training!
In complete honesty i have Luke to thank for so much, YES he has put me in the best shape i’ve ever been in, and even after my holiday i have signed up with him for another 12 weeks as a 121 trainer!

I started with Luke around December time where I added a bit of mass as was due a knee operation in January so didn’t want to lose too much size or muscle. I then had my operation in which I was then out of action for a few weeks but was itching to return and train. Luke then suggested I train for a men’s physique competition later in the year, I didn’t think much to it at first and never thought I would be able to achieve this.
I had been in the gym for a few years now just ticking over but never having any real goals set and the more I thought about this competition the more it appealed to me. I’ve always been in fairly good shape but never thought I could reach this goal. We then set out a 15 week gradual cutting plan at which my starting weight was 78kg.
I would check in every week and get my food and training plans adjusted accordingly to the progression I made. I was enjoying my training and enjoyed watching the changes in my body as the weeks passed.
A while Into my plan a few personal issues occurred in which I was challenged emotionally and found myself really wanting to quit, Luke made me stay strong and kept the belief in me in which I just carried on and pushed myself through. There was some very hard times emotionally but just had to keep going.
I owe Luke a lot as a week ago on the 29th may I competed in the UKBFF men’s physique competition but unfortunately didn’t place. The day was overwhelming and an experience I will never forget. Luke believed in me when others didn’t and even I doubted myself many of times. I’ve had first hand experience with one of the top trainers around and have gained a very close friend as well. For this I will be forever grateful.

Luke has a very in depth knowledge of nutrition. I genuinely have a well balanced diet, working in the fitness industry myself and I train on a regular basis, but I had fallen in to a bit of a rut before my summer holiday to Jamaica, due to being overloaded with work and eating more than normal. Therefore I asked Luke to write me a 2 week cut nutritional programme, to get me back on track and feeling better about myself ready for the beaches and my bikinis.
